Background and professional aims

I offer a broad experience in national and international Corporate Tax Law, in cross-border VAT Law and in the support of private clients. For several years now, I have been engaged in the training of prospective tax advisors.

The aim behind the decision to take over entrepreneurial responsibility and, therefore, to set up a tax office together with Stefan im Schlaa is to be able to combine our wide and complementary experience in a way that we can offer tailor-made solutions, at both a national and international level, to medium-sized and smaller companies, and to private clients. iSP Global Tax knows this sector well – and we understand how to approach tax matters from the perspective of large international organisations, too.

Professional experience

• Medium-sized companies , Multinationals and Private Clients

During my work as corporate tax counsel in the tax department of a medium-sized internationally focused group and of a stock-listed French enterprise, I was in charge of matters relating to German National Tax Law. In both organisations, I was responsible for tax projects with an international focus, including tax implications for shareholders. At a practical, technical level, I was also involved in the implementation of IT- and ERP-based tax systems.

• Tax Clerk for the German Tax Office

At the German Tax Office, I was in charge of tax assessments. During my time there, I gained a thorough understanding of the German Tax Authority’s organisational structure, and the way the internal departments cooperate with each other. Based on this experience, I am familiar with the communication between the different departments, and have a very clear understanding of their specific needs and priorities. This background offers a good starting point for finding effective tax solutions for our clients – and it reinforces the notion that iSP Global Tax is founded on a basis of integrity.

And when I’m not working …

I love skiing – I’m a ski instructor, spending winter breaks in the Dolomites. And, away from the snow, I have recently taken up golf.
